Description Suggest change

One really fun boulder in a rather uninspiring area of suburban backwater near southington. This boulder is really neat rock and has a sweet jug haul traverse problem. There are also a few other traprock boulders down near I-84 that have some cool lines on them.

Getting There Suggest change

Take exit 26 off of 1-84 westbound. Park in the grocery store at Meriden Rd and Oak St. Walk east 100 yards on Meriden Rd. to water tower on your right, walk uphill towards water tower where you will find a quad trail heading back into the woods, follow this for about 5 minutes to a T intersection, go left, go another 5 minutes down a slight hill, here you bear right on a rutted jeep road and go downhill for about 3 minutes. This will get you in the general locale, the boulder/cliffband will be off to your left uphill about 50 yards. The other traprock boulders are all the way downhill towards the highway right before the exit 26 offramp.
