Description Suggest change

A new zone in Pine Creek. This overlooked wall can be seen from the road but disappears again near the parking area. A moderate 25-35 minute hike puts you at the base of this fun filled wall. The rock quality here is some of the best in Pine Creek. Avalanche wall has it all. Full trad, mixed, and sport routes exist here and the climbs range from single to 3 pitches in length.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Haurte Creek road sign, drive 0.4 miles. There are pull-offs on both sides of the road. Locate the massive avalanche gully and walk north following the gully for 20 minutes. Follow rock cairns up the hill (on your left) for another 5 to 10 minutes to the base of the wall.
