Description

I don't know the climbing history here at Mt. Hor, but I wanted to post a small, but very good bouldering area with potential. There are two boulders right off the road and another two a few hundred yards behind them. it seems as if there are many more to be found. Beautiful Granite.

The boulders are less than 1/4 mile before the Mount Hor trail head. You will see the boulders on your left as you go up the hill to the trail head.

there are some routes here some scary, some not, namely the classic 4 pitch "watermelon route" a very excellent outing at a somewhat moderate 5.10. A new guide for vt will be out soon if not already with comprehensive information. May 29, 2012
