Access Issue: Falcon nesting - April 1 - Jul 31 Details

The west face is home to a multigenerational peregrine falcon nest. A voluntary climbing closure for the west face is in effect April 1 - July 31. Respect the closure and help maintain access!

Description

This is obviously the South West Face of Fresno Dome. The routes are multi pitch on fantastic rock.

Note that every year there is an active peregrine falcon nest in the middle of the west face. Help to maintain climber access to Fresno Dome by respecting the seasonal closure of this wall from April 1 - July 31st while the birds are nesting.

Getting There

Hike down and around from Zippity-Do-Dah Buttress or down and around Hawk Dome.
