Description
A few short routes above the Yampa River at the tailwaters area of Stagecoach Reservoir. There is also great fishing at the tailwaters area, bring a fly rod. This is a great after work hang.
Getting There
Take CO 131 South out of Steamboat. Make a left onto CO 14 at the sign directing you to Stagecoach Reservoir. Drive this road to the main entrance of Stagecoach and take an immediate left. Follow this dirt road down past the dam and to the Fisherman's parking lot. Hike south out of the lot up and over a hill, down a loose gully, and (skier's)left to a big rock pad. The routes are obvious.
