Description

Chockstone Tower is an ultra classic tower in Palisades State Park. Many fun routes up it. Routes vary from the "West Slab Route"5.3 to "Aloha" 5.12. Great Dihedral is " The Bitch " 5.8-5.9? This tower also has some fun face climbs. Split Rock Creek roars less than 20 feet away so as you climb all you can really hear is the river a fun intense climb.

Getting There

Palisades State Park has doubled in size and the old entrance is closed. Take the new entrance far to the south, drive north to the old park and hang a left before you get to the bridge near a large parking area. Drive west on the road a ways till you can pull off and park. Look for King Rock across the river.
