Moro Rock (SEKI) and Chimney Rocks usually have nesting closures every year from April 1 to August 15.
As of April 2016, all routes are open to climbing.
Description
Near the Wuksachi Lodge.
AM shade/ PM sun, granite boulder with lots of knobs/features and good traverses. There are many variations and problems on the Bilar boulder. Safe landings, except at the overhang. Good place for adults and kids.
Getting There
. After driving past the Lodge and entering the back lots, look left (north) up a hill that is a big granite slab, with a huge fallen pine tree at the base. The lot at the base of the slab is usually for construction purposes to store gravel and rocks - don't park here. The Bilar boulder is uphill in the center of this slab. Occasionally, in the off-season, this back lot area will be closed for driving, in which you'd just park at the Lodge and walk back the road. Either way, its a ~5 min walk. From the Bilar, the Mountain Pride boulders/ El Dorado are in sight, walk east towards Clover Creek for 3 mins.
**This all could change if they develop in the back lots.
