Description

This area up canyon from Mascun in the Rodellar area is more secluded because of the approach. The routes are mostly long and hard, starting at about 5.12-. The area is largely undeveloped which is a shame because there is some amazing looking walls up this canyon. There is however probably quite a bit more than the current guide book lists. The canyon runs East to West so there are North facing and South facing walls.

Getting There

Walk all the way through the Mascun area to La Surgencia then head up the canyon to the left after passing La Surgencia. There are walls on either side of the canyon, some amazing caves up the hillside on the south facing slope and tall leaning walls on the north facing side. The approach takes about 45 minutes or more.
