This is an absolutely beautiful area for a couple of days of climbing, fishing and camping. The walk in is ~ 2.5 miles with about a 500 ft elevation drop according to the sign at the trail head. It did not seem that far or that much elevation change to me. Most of the bolted routes could be trad gear protected, but this would definitely up the seriousness of the area. The bolts placed on routes under 5.11a are fairly minimal in my opionion and could use some gear in between in places if you are not solid at the grade. The area really shines for someone ready to redpoint Tipping the Vessel of Knowledge (5.11d).

My youngest son caught 11 fish in 2 days without really trying. They were mostly Brook trout with one "Gigantic Cutthroat" that got away. Aug 20, 2012
