Permits can be acquired at the ranger station on the way to the boulders from the upper Tramway station.
Description
This large, open valley is comprised of several different areas - Shangri-La, The Dance Floor, The Beach, Boardwalk Area all of which sit close to one another and provide a wealth of quality problems.
Getting There
Many approaches are possible depending where one is coming from but some of the popular ways include up Kung Fu Canyon, the Trailside area past Frank's Boulder or Gluttony or The Flash Gordon Area.
All of these approaches will get you to the southern end of the valley and take approximately 20 minutes or so.
