Permits can be acquired at the ranger station on the way to the boulders from the upper Tramway station.

Description

The Beach is a large open area, mostly flat, that extends from the edge of The Dance Floor to the rim and is bordered on the north by the Boardwalk Area .

Getting There

Approach as for The Dance Floor and keep heading east. The two areas run together really. Approach time is 20-30 minutes.
