Description
The Ferris Mountains boast limestone palisades up to 450 feet high. The cliff band (or bands) are 4 or 5 miles long. I don't know of any development in the area except one foray to them by myself and Steve Bechtel. The cliffs face south and the rock is generally quite clean, albeit sparsely featured. This area is very remote and will require a motivated team to develop new routes.
