Description Suggest change

Although there are many rocky boulders scattered around the lake, the amount of good problems is fairly limited.

The main bouldering area is just below the lake on the extensive boulder strewn slope. There are also some vertical walls on the far side and upside slope of the lake.

Getting There Suggest change

From the town of Mammoth Lakes follow Main Street, and continue straight at the traffic lights onto Lake Mary Road. Follow this until a left turn can be made towards Coldwater Campground. After 1 mile turn left into the campground and follow the campground up the hill to the Emerald Lake trailhead.

Follow the trail to Emerald Lake (1 mile).
