Description Suggest change

Open Face is a tall (100 feet) open section of rock split by a large chimney/gash in the middle (Open Face, 5.5 R) and separated from the Orangutan Buttress to the right by another chimney (The Long Chimney, 5.3). Dandy Line (5.8) splits off from the Long Chimney part way up, and finishes to the right at the top left corner of Orangutan Buttress.

Be careful if climbing here; it is a popular spot for rapelling.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the trail along the cliff past Cramped Thumb Face to the obvious straight gash/chimney that extends from the base to the top of the cliff (Open Face, 5.5 R).
