Description Suggest change

The Evil Pillar is the large, east-leaning formation which dominates the heart of the Cemetery. This fine crag is home to a couple sport routes, including the area’s 5.10b showpiece, Necessary Evil. As elsewhere in the Cemetery, the routes are along excellent holds on coarse granite.

Getting There Suggest change

From the central area of the Cemetery, the Evil Pillar is up on the hillside to the east, directly north of the Black Tower. It is southeast of the Tombstones and across the “valley” from the small formations north of the Pillars of Hope and Despair.
