Description
Beautiful, this rock is not. However, there is some decent climbing for those who can look beyond skin deep beauty. In the old days, you could drive right up to this rock and park. Some decent routes on this crag includes Whitman Sampler, Rodeo, Benhamin', Crank Corner, Twoys For Twats, My Pet Monster, Whiplash Smile, & Hosemonster. This crag is up to ~200 ft tall with routes up to 2 pitches. More of the climbing is on the south face.
Getting There
From Hwy 126, you go north on FR 538 1.7 miles, go right at the turn off for Chair Rocks. Take the next left and Slabbo will come into view. From this direction, it is entirely unimpressive. Go around the south side to see more rock. Until the road opens, a mountain bike may be the most efficient means of access.
