Description Suggest change

A north-facing ~60ft bluff with a choice of clean cracks and slabs. The anorthosite rock is different than that of Palisade Head and feels more like granite. The routes are accessed by rapping off from the top.

The approach trail leads straight to the clifftop with a very nice vista of the forrested surroundings. Section 13 is a good and desolate alternative on crowded days at Palisade and Shovel Point.

Getting There Suggest change

From Highway 61 turn into County Road 6. Drive for 2 miles at which point you should see a Superior Hiking Trail
(gravel pit) on the right. If you see the cemetary on the right, you've driven too far. Leave the car at the parking lot and walk another ~100 yards along County Rd. 6 towards the
. One mile hike leads directly to the top of Section 13 cliffs.
