Description
Getting There
Follow the directions to the BoDG areas.
As of May 2024, the map to the upper area / The Dome provided by the guide book is no longer relevant due to a locked gate 1 mile from the original parking area.
To continue to the upper area aka The Dome (as of May 2024)--

You'll definitely want GPS / map to reference where you are / when to turn. It's about a .6-.75 mile walk one way. Some tramping but no bush-whacking required; pretty easy approach.
You'll drive up Blue Lake Rd, past the first set of power lines and then you should see pink flagging tape on a road off to the right - this is the 'rough road.' (Circled roughly in pink on the map.)
Continue following that road and you'll hit a closed gate. (Circled in red on the map.) Park off to the side in case a logging truck comes through.
Instead of following the left road as posted in the guide book directions, you'll walk the main road in front of you. (The yellow line on the map.) It's all gravel until you get to an 'intersection' to turn left on a 'road' (just a flattened path where the logging vehicles went through), then you'll want to continue following similar paths until you come up on mossy rocks which should be just across a small gulley from The Bouncer; looking at The Bouncer travel to the right to get to White Lines / Lotus Throne.
