Description Suggest change

This is a boulder referenced in Bob Horan's Best of Boulder Bouldering guidebook published by Falcon. The boulder is shady, solid, and kinda lowball. The Potato (submitted as Bella) is the first boulder you'll see, and has a problem on its backside. It is next to the Egg Boulder.

It has a classic SDS boulder problem. For the problem: throw straight up from the big huecoed start to matching slopers move right hand to horseshoe sloper, static up to another "horseshoe" hold, followed by a crazy mantel and up. It was well chalked up by me, Andy, and friends, including lots of cool unclimbed lines on the boulders next to it, called The Potato and The Egg by Horan's Boulder Bouldering. The problem maybe goes at V3/4.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike to the Tomato Boulder off the Kohler Mesa trail, head up creekbed about 40 yards and it is off your right. It is nestled with the Egg and the Potato Boulders, and it is described and climbed? in Horan's Boulder Bouldering. The problem is on the backside of the 1st boulder you see from the creekbed. Has anyone climbed here?
