Routes in Jasper Peak

Description

Jasper Peak is in the Indian Peak Wilderness area and has some summer/spring snow routes.

To date, there do not appear to be any winter ice or mixed routes here.

Getting There

Drive to the Fourth of July trailhead (East side, Ned-Eldora-Hesse-4th) and park. Follow the Arapahoe Pass trail to the Diamond Lake trail (first signed junction) and continue to the Lake (2.4 miles as per signage).

Photos

We skied the Snow Lion today and it's in good. Snow is stable and corned up nice. A little effort getting in/out, it's a long day, but filled with awesome turns for many feet. May 9, 2004
