There is a little boulder with 3 routes on it hidden in a gully between Der Freischutz and the Hand on Dinosaur Mountain. It is pleasantly shaded. There used to be protection bolts and pin for leading purposes. Currently, there are only 2 ring bolt anchors on top for TR purposes. Nonetheless, a nice short rock with stiff problems. Eat Cat Too 11b/c (stiff), Hiss and Spray 12a, and Cat O Nine Tails 12 lie on this rock. For the obscure tour.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike up past Square Rock on Dinosaur Mountain on the Mallory Cave Trail. Pass the S side of Der Zerkle. Before traversing along the west face of Der Zerkle, find a 3rd class trail heading SSW. Scramble up. Beware of poison ivy. The steep E face confronts you perhaps 50-100 yards from the Mallory Cave Trail. Scramble up the W side to gain access to the TR anchors.
