Description Suggest change

Honey Bear is a fun flow that reliably forms up every winter. Its difficulty ranges significantly, depending on conditions. It can be as hard as WI 4 when thin, and as easy as WI 2+ or so when fat. It is possible to walk around to the left until the cliff angle eases, then back around to toprope the climb using trees.

Getting There Suggest change

This flow can be very hard to find. The closest parking to the flow would be Little Devil's Tower parking area, but the road leading to this point is closed in winter. Instead, park at the lot where trails #4 and #9 take off near the Campground Boulder. Take trail #4 to the Little Devil's Tower parking lot.

From here, it is only a short distance, but route finding can be difficult. With any luck, someone has been there previous and left footprints in the snow. Otherwise, walk a little ways up the trail and then wander up and to the left of the main trail. It is necessary to cross a very small incline, which makes the flow hidden from the trail. The flow comes off a granite cliff about 100 feet high. This is also near Poet's Table, a mysterious picnic table under a granite roof.
