Sickle is a great exposed arete climb with some airy, thought provoking moves. Be careful of the Poison Ivy which is ubiquitous. Also tread carefully on the mosses and vegetation which appear to be very sensitive. For the amount this is climbed the rock is very good, with only a little lichen growing on it.
Getting There
Follow the approach to the Cathedral Spires, but turn left off the trail instead of right. You will want to hike until the trail flattens out for about 100 yards and then wander over to your left. The 5.3 route on Sickle starts on the Northeast side, so you have to walk around the back of the Picket Fence to get to the base.
