Description

Smith Mountain probably houses the majority of bouldering problems in Central Alabama. There are multiple trails that run along the side of the boulders. There is alot of potential out there that only needs a little love and affection. Please dont remove any plant life that is not neccesary. TREAD LIGHTLY. Whatever you take in, be sure to take back out.

Getting There

From Auburn: Drive North on College St. till 280. Take a left(West) on 280 for 30 miles. Once in Dadeville take a left at the intersection onto N. Broadnax St. Take the first right onto W. Lafeyette St. continue for 1 mile, take a left on Young Ferry Rd. for 3 miles. Turn left onto Smith Mountain Dr.. Take the first right to stay on Smith Mountain Dr. It will dead end to the parking lot, follow the paved road to the fire tower.
