Wall side of ledge protection

Hey folks. I just acquired a Fish Double Ledge. It has to be 20 years old. Never used from the looks of things. The bungee is in great shape as is the wall side of the ledge. What should I use to treat the wall side of the ledge. Tool Dip? Any recommendations.

Also have the original fly. Sweet pink and teal. Needs to be seam gripped.

super psyched right now! Looking forward to causing a traffic jamb or two this spring/summer.

I use a couple layers of Gorilla tape. It'll get destroyed after a while but I just peal it off and add a new layer.

1 layer of pipe protect (tape)
some duct tape H/D to keep it on.

1.5" rubber hose cut lengthwise place over and tape.

a short length of abs or PVC pipe, 3-4" long, rough ID of PVC to match OD of P-ledge frame, cut length wise to create a "c". they can "clip" on the ledge and be moved to the exact spot of wear.

Do you guys recommend doing the same to a metolius ledge or is the beefed wall side material enough?

I think it hurts more to see your ledge damaged after a wall then having a small amount of protection on it.

I have a Metolius ledge and I've had the wall side edge taped up from day one.
