Description Suggest change

Starts with a wide hand crack and follows a ramp up to the top of the formation.  Choose your own adventure up the ramp on the right side of the steep yellow wall.  No fixed anchors, so plan to walk off the top to the right.  The guidebook shows rappel anchors from the top of the Gangsters route, but these anchors are not accessible from the top of the formation, nor are they equipped for rappelling as of June 2026.

Location Suggest change

The rightmost route on the formation.  Starts just to the right of a large pine that touches the toe of the buttress in a wide hand crack that leads into a ramp.  There is a single bolt up and left of the crack, this is the Black Adder route that splits off and left from the Shakey Pine start.  The Gangsters route also splits off onto the steep yellow wall above Shakey Pine after you have climbed up 30 feet or so.

Protection Suggest change

Gear from 0.3 to #3 Camalot. Makes for a long single pitch and requires a gear anchor - plan accordingly.
