Description
A very fun roof move, and the awesome face above, make this short line worth a go. Partially bolted when the buttress was first established, a blank panel under the roof stalled things out for a few years. Now it works out, with some bolts moved, and a shared start with the line to the left. The line is short and punchy. The roof sequence is fun; positive feet and hands flow together without thrutch if you find the acrobatic sequence and really use your feet. Located where the trail first meets the crag. Start off the big flat stage, sharing the first bolt with the line to its left. Mantel onto the big ledge at 10' and teeter around to clip the bolt on the face to the right. Bump through some edges to gain the horizontal crack under the roof (direct, harder), or share a move with the left line to get off the ledge, then traverse in on jugs to the right (easier). Move right on jams or jugs, bust a move to flip the roof and gain the face above. Great rock, moves and holds to finish.
