Description Suggest change

Dead Racoon is one of the best V11s boulder problems in RMNP. It climbs a lot like a gym problem with friendly grips and tricky movement.

Begin near the arete of the boulder squatting with your left hand on a cool, incut, pinch/tufa-like hold and your right hand lower on a poor, three finger drag. Move right to flat edges, then bust into a sustained compression sequence with awesome holds. The climbing eases off toward the topout.

Location Suggest change

It is an obvious gold-colored line with a set of right-facing, flat edges on the main overhang of the boulder.

Protection Suggest change

2 or more pads.
