Unsent Project!

Start low on a vertical juggy crimp rail. Follow the line of holds diagonally into the topout of "Expectations". This problem is characterized by strangely angled handholds and less than optimal foot positions. Use of a kneepad is highly recommended. The vision is that the upper arete is off for this problem, but I haven't found a reason to use it yet anyways.

There are a few moves that seem a bit more cruxy than the rest, but most of the difficulty seems to come from how the climb builds. The cryptic style of climbing that this problem embodies doesn't seem like it will be everyone's cup of tea, but regardless it seems somewhat next-level for the state of MD.

The grade is a guess based on comparison to other hard MD boulders, as well as boulders of the same/similar grade out of the state. I can't see it being easier than V13 based on my experience trying climbs of that grade, at least with the beta I have found.

This project could use a bit more cleaning, but hopefully with more traffic what's left of the choss will exfoliate and the climb will increase in quality. It's already way nicer than when we first started cleaning it up!
