Most of the climbing at Fountain Bluff occurs on private property.
This climbing area is encumbered by a conservation easement, known as an Illinois registered Land and Water Reserve (LWR) as of 2024. Allowable uses are regulated and the natural resources on site are protected by law. Please refer to LWR section for more details.

Description
Begin on easy terrain. Head right after the second bolt to the base of the blue limestone streak. Pull onto the headwall with difficulty and enjoy big moves through sandstone and limestone holds.
