Description Suggest change

Nice long pitch of ice in the main Snooka valley. Can be done in two shorter pitches but perhaps best to be done in one long 70m pitch. Mellow start and slowing ramps up in steepness for the last 20m. Rappel off V thread. Named due to often forming hooks on the top of the of pitch.

Location Suggest change

Park at the Snooka trail head and take the trail past the outhouse following signs for snooka lookout. Depending on snow conditions this can be a 45-90 minute hike gaining roughly 300m elevation to base of the climb.
