Description Suggest change

This is a great offwidth! I thought maybe we found an unclimbed offwidth, but alas, it looks like the crusher Justin Edl put it up back in 2001. Still, I added some nice bolts at the top for ya! :)

This is from the Robert Kelman guidebook: "this is the obvious and amusingly, odious offwidth. FA: Justin Edl, 2001."

I would like to talk to Justin on that and ask him what they meant. I took my only groundfall in some 24+ years of climbing, when what I though was a great #6 popped out when I took a lead fall. However, I think it's because this hasn't seen much traffic, and it was covered in lichen. I went back and put in anchors, rapped it, and spent a lot of time cleaning it. Then led it with lots of fear, but my 6s seemed very competent. It's a great climb!

Please get on it, and let us know what you think! My original thought was the good ol 9+, but I'll post the 5.9 rating from the Kelman guidebook, that is a great climb!

Location Suggest change

It is on the Northwest face of the Quarry left of the "Oriental Finger Trip" crack.

Protection Suggest change

Two #6s are nice, then it gets smaller. Protect with a #5 then down to #1 at the top.
