Description Suggest change

This one is a wild trip! A late season route only as most of the year this is a waterfall (although it has been ice climbed in winter). All the standard canyoneering hazards apply here including flash flooding and rockfall. Occasionally hardware gets damaged by icefall. Once in the canyon there are few escape options. The first 3 pitches are often wet and/or buried in snow (and may need some rebolting) so some elect to start from the base of pitch 4 where you can walk into the canyon just left of The Flower Garden. Pitch 4 starts on the right wall and traverses left over the cave. Great views of the Stuart Range from the ridge crest. Descend the route with lots of down scrambling and 13 raps with a single 60 meter rope. Not recommended to enter the canyon if there is a party above. See topo.
