Description
I'm not sure the history of this line so it may have another name.
Start by stepping off a boulder to establish on a ledge under the obvious undercling crack. Place a handful of pieces (a #4 is bomber and the highest piece I could reach) to keep you off the ledge if you fall before the next stance. Pull 5.11 undercling moves directly off the deck with thin feet. Plug some gear then gain the end of the roof to a welcoming rest. Finish up a pancake squeeze to the anchor. This line is more about stamina as there's not really a defined crux.
The nature of this line pulls the rope into the crack at the end of the roof when being lowered. If you place a piece (#.5-.75) right at the end, there's a chance your rope may pinch with the cam and get stuck. There is a micro (red Z4) cam in a small horizontal slot about 12" down and left from end of the roof that can be used to keep the rope out of the crack for following.
