Phobos: God of Fear

Phobos starts off mellow with some easy slab climbing before things start to steepen toward the roof. The crux is all about big, juggy holds with fun, dynamic moves that require smart footwork and body tension to stay efficient. Once you pull through the roof, you’re rewarded with exposed arete climbing, offering great views and engaging movement to the anchors. The route is well-protected throughout the crux, making it a great choice for those getting into steeper sport routes.

More of a thrill than a fright but it’ll still get your heart rate up.

Location Suggest change

This is the second from left route. It is the first route from left-to-right to have normal climbing bolts (rather than glue-in bolts).

Protection Suggest change

10 bolts to a two bolt anchor. One long sling was nice at the bolt before the roof
