Description
Start on crimps at head height. Set a left heel hook and then do an awesome, satisfying move to a right hand jug. Get a left hand in a decent lay back pod and then get a right hand pinch on the arete before going big to the sloper that begins the lip traverse. Finish off with high quality lip traversing as the pump slowly builds towards the top. Rock up and over just before touching the wall on the left. Incredible location and movement. Rock quality is decent. Landing isn't great and the crux is the approach. Extra points for the approach!
Location
Directly uphill from the Crystal bay boulder. Head to the Crystal bay boulder and then follow sandy slopes, log crossings and rocky ridges through a labyrinth of bushes. The boulder is easily seen from the road and is probably less than a 1/4 mile from the street (Teresia Way). Look for the obvious overhang jutting out of the bushy mountain side.
