Description Suggest change

A bit more than halfway up the biggest stretch of cliffband lies Gray Whale. Great stone in a great location on the wall. It is located across the upper gully following grassy ledges, climb full on 5.8 slab between good edges and jugs. Take a look around when you get to the anchor, its a spectacular view. There is an anchor at the base of route you can go into if you want a bit more comfort belaying on this one. Another anchor around to the left although unsure of what its for as I saw no lead bolts.

Location Suggest change

Left most route on upper tier on the reef, hike in from right side of cliffband on a series of ledges, roughly 4th class.

Protection Suggest change

~8 Bolts, 2 bolt anchor
