Warning Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Sit start in a juggy seam/crack about 10 feet to the left of Lethal Design.

Make some powerful moves up and right through a second seam until you reach jugs at the lip near a beach all sized depression.

From here mantle with thin patina flakes and make the quest up the easy headwall to a sloped top.

Tread very lightly up high, this route rarely has chalk on it and the flakes feel very fragile, a fall from here could be disastrous.

(I opted to smear on the good varnish for my footholds in the upper section rather than use the flakes because I was uncertain if they would break, more traffic and cleaning of the route would fix this)

Location Suggest change

Middle of the giant boulder, 10 feet to the left of Lethal Design

Protection Suggest change

6 (or more) well placed pads and a spotter could help mitigate the fall
