Description

Park at the base of the dome off the road, do a little bit of bushwhacking to get to the base of the dome. Start by going up, this is the hardest section of the climb but it is the least exposed. Head up between the black slab on the left and the trees on the right. While the climbing here is not challenging, it is extremely exposed and a fall would definitely not be ideal. There are no bolts, anchors or really any good protection for the first half until the tree patches. Semi-soloing and simul is the best way to go up, just be careful. Pitches will be based on groups.

Location

near the end of pack river road 231, go past the trail head for beehive lake and keep a lookout on the east for the large dome

Protection

trees, no bolt, no anchors
