Take the trail heading towards the main cliff, continue past the right spur trail (which leads to the slab area and main cliff) for about 20 feet, then take a left onto talus where you will find an overhanging boulder, an off-width crack and the large steep face of Barnacle Boy. La bouteille rose is to the left of Barnacle Boy on the same boulder.
