Description
This line finds a path through some of the best rock at the Pantheon/Colosseum. Move over technical 5.11 climbing to arrive at a distinct and sequence-specific crux at the midpoint of the route over very small holds, side pulls, and delicate feet. Once through this, make a series of 5.11/12 moves to the chains.

In the Roman foundation myth, it was a she-wolf (lupa in Italian) that nursed and sheltered the twins Romulus and Remus after they were abandoned in the wild by order of King Amulius. She cared for the infants at her den, a cave known as the Lupercal. Romulus would later become the founder and first king of Rome. The image of the she-wolf suckling the twins has been a symbol of Rome since ancient times and is one of the most recognizable icons of ancient mythology.
