Description
This is a long pitch (70 meter rope with 15 feet of simuclimbingl or break it into two) of variable ice (snice) of variable thickness to a snowy topout with an alpine feel. It is not too sun affected and is rarely climbed. At the top of the main flow, there is an anchor to the right on one piton and a tricam (tricam left on 1/27/2021). A small nut is nice to back this up. I believe you could continue for another pitch with a small bit of ice and walk off looker's left.
We rappelled off the pin and tricam and then a zero-thread and downclimbed the last 15 feet or so (70m rope). Alan Searcy suggested this may be called Naked Iraqi Cheerleaders but couldn't recall more. It is a fun adventure! This is definitely in an avalanche path. Pick your day carefully. Sunshine can cause snow to release off the rock and wet loose slides in the path above.
Location
It is about 1.5 miles up Booth Creek Trail, just before Booth Falls on the looker's left across the creek, 50 yards or so left of Three Blind Mice.
