Description
Stand start to the right of the prow in the corner pocket above the sand-choss. Follow the holds on the right side of the prow out left. Jump out to the nose and then mantle up. Recommend stacking pads to brush the prow.
Topout is crux. Don't want to fall on this one, landing is sloped and you and/or your pads might be sliding down the hill.
Don't recommend trying unless you are very comfortable with the grade. Downclimb is also a bit dangerous. Once you topout, walk to the left about 10-15 feet and then carefully downclimb.
Location
First saw this prow while hiking; the approach ended up being longer than I remembered! This rock is about 20-30 minutes from the start of the "green loop" trail. Possibly worth the hike to experience the thrill!
Trailhead is on the right side of the meadow at the ampitheater parking lot (see main area description). Walk past the first outcropping of rocks on the left side of the trail - go about 15 minutes on mostly flat trail and you will see the prow up the hill to the left. Hike up the hill.
