Description Suggest change

Climb the thin crack until It leans left and ends. Here, the nature of the route changes from moderate crack climbing to technical face climbing on dubiously attached, crimpy holds. Two bolts protect this face. A short but worthwhile climb.

Location Suggest change

This route is on a formation called “The Island” which is approximately 10 yards Southeast of the Bird Watching Boulder. Currently, this is the only lead route on The Island. The route faces West and follows a variable thin crack that arches up and left until it pinches off.

Protection Suggest change

Single rack to 3”. Two lead bolts above the crack lead to a two-bolt anchor, which was recently equipped with rap rings thanks to the Bower Climbing Coalition. This anchor isn't accessible from above without rapping in from a gear anchor.
