Description Suggest change

This is a beautiful pitch of ice in an awesome setting. Admire the choss and fantastic views as you climb fat Cimarron ice in November!

Fire up the steep crux curtain, which may be thin (WI4/+). Continue up lower-angle ice (WI2) to another curtain, which is shorter than the first (WI4). There is a roomy cave behind this curtain that could be used to break up the climb in two pitches. Above this, low-angle ice and snow leads to the top.

Two 60m ropes should get you down from small trees or a v-thread in the creek.

Location Suggest change

This is the middle of three flows on the right side of the Precipice Amphitheater. See the area for details.

Protection Suggest change

A standard ice rack and two ropes.
