Description
Start just barely inside the chimney and follow the left arete up to the first bolt on big holds. Continue up the arete past four more bolts, using both sides of the arete and the arete itself. The opposite wall (of the chimney) was not used during the FA, but may help. In general, if things appear to be harder than 5.9 it is probably easier on the other side of the arete. After the 5th bolt cross a small roof and continue up the corner (easier) or the arete (significantly harder) to a ring anchor. This is a fun route that emphasizes steep, technical climbing up an arete!
