Crux: first few moves before the second shelf

Good: Some interesting grips and motions involved.

Bad: Topping out directly is dangerous; it is better to shuffle left along the horizontal crag after the second shelf.

The route is directly across from the down climb, and starts at the same hold as Maelstrom: the good hold on the rightmost edge of the first shelf. From there, go pretty much straight up. Top out by traversing the horizontal crag on the right after the second shelf.

Crash mat.

Good climb! If you have a good pad and spotter I would recommend going strait up instead of traversing to your left. The upper section is quite good and a bit easier. Nov 13, 2015

A little bit tougher to go straight up if you're on the short side, so I used some alternate beta that was a couple thin jugs and crimps going right from the start hold along the bottom of the shelf (toe hook on the start helps) and then up the face there to meet back at the original line of the route.
