Description

This delightful route which can be seen just as you get to the base of the trail where the cliff starts (from the east trail). Step on the Lizard Locks starting Blocks, and go straight up and veer right, then climb the dihedral to get to easier ground and ease left towards the Lizard Locks rappel tree.

Protection

A handful of small cams (to 1-1/2") and nuts.

Climbed this yesterday. Decent route, worth doing if at Dropzone. Pretty easy. We stayed in the dihedral the whole way up, and it felt around 5.7, maybe easy 5.8. Aug 15, 2015

Couldn't find the 5.9 even though I stayed on the dihedral proper. Gear leaves a bit to be desired as does the route. For this area I'd say it's better than many of the lines but dirty ledges and loose blocks are included, 5.8 tops.
Use the smaller tree up top/climbers right to belay but bring long slings or use the rope around the trunk. Rap down off permanent anchors on top of The Trembling. Mar 27, 2015
