Description

Very cool arete climbing on knobs and edges. Classic arete climbing using both sides of the arete make it worth doing despite the steep ground at the base.

Location

Not really on the Murray Wall but close enough to include. From the campsite reached just before the Murray Wall drop down the hill to the left maybe 100 feet. You can't miss the overhanging arete.

You're killing me! I recently started carrying gardening tools (for trail maintenance) and a wrench (to tighten loose nuts) and now you are saying I need to carry hangers. At this rate I'll be lucky to reach the crag.

I'll see what I can do. Removing the tree at the Steep should probably be my next project. Jul 14, 2010
Thought we replaced it. We ran out on another climb and borrowed that hanger. Another reason to have a hanger and wrench in ones pack like Don Buland always does. Jul 12, 2010

The first bolt is missing a hanger. While I am not certain I believe this is intentional. The route goes without it and the rope likely runs better. Jul 12, 2010
