Sit-start on low pockets, make a couple easy moves in more pockets then stretch up high to the left-hand sidepull. Pull up to the crimp in the horizontal seam or throw for the lip (crux).

Molly Boulder, center of the northwest face - the highest point on the boulder. Start just left of the block on the ground in front of the boulder.

It is in the shade, but the left sidepull sure feels slick as you pull hard to reach the huge jug on the lip with your right. Feb 18, 2008

There is a positive crimp at the bottom of the sidepull that a lot of people use. Dec 16, 2008

Yes the crimp at the bottom of the sidepull and small edges for the feet make it easier to gain the crimp below the top. Dec 26, 2009

Is this problem named after Molly the person? Or Molly the Substance? :) Feb 11, 2011

I believe it is named after the famous British climber and raconteur Craig Smiths' lovely wife. Feb 12, 2011
slopey jug above the sidepull for the left hand if you cant bump to the jug. Apr 24, 2011

Russ is correct. I did the first ascent of this and it's named after my wife..... Jul 19, 2011
Fun! Feb 8, 2013
Super high quality climbing. Don't be spooked by the rock at the base - you won't hit it. And the jug is HUGE. Aug 11, 2013
